Glen T. Parish

Glen Thomas Parish, 65, was born April 5, 1946 and went to be with the Lord October 29, 2011. Visitation will be Monday, October 31, 2011 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence from 6-8 pm and will also be Tuesday, November 1st from 1pm until the 2 pm service at Clear Branch Baptist Church in Florence. Burial will follow in Clear Branch Cemetery.\ \ Mr. Parish was a retired truck driver who enjoyed spending time with his family, cooking out and watching his grandchildren play ball. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and was known throughout the community as a dear friend. \ \ He is preceded in death by his parents, Mac and Sadie Parish and four sisters. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Nicki Parish of Florence; Daughter, Lauri Ayn (Joey) Brunson of Florence, Son, Walker S. (Jennifer) Parish of Brandon; 3 grandchildren, Austin (Larami) and Amanda Brunson of Florence and Stone Parish of Brandon; 3 brothers, Mac Parish of Mendenhall, George Parish of Nashville, TN, and Jimmie Parish of Florence; and sisters, Kaye Brown of Florence, Anita Parish of TN and Janice Luna of Rankin County.\
