Mr. H. Millett Padelford

H. Millett Padelford, 94, passed away Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at Wisteria Gardens in Pearl. Visitation will be Friday, February 21st from 10 AM until the 11 AM Funeral Service at Briar Hill Baptist Church in Florence. Interment will follow at Briar Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. A native of Jackson, Mr. Padelford had lived in Florence since 1973. He was an accountant with Deposit Guaranty national Bank, retiring after 41 years of service and was a member of Briar Hill Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents, Sidney and Lucy Claire Padelford and his brother Sidney Walton Padelford, Jr. Mr. Padelford is survived by his wife of 69 years, Loraine Johnson Padelford of Pearl; Sons Walton (Katy) Padelford of Jackson and Marc (Pat) Padelford of Pearl; Sister Anita (A.C.) Spivey of Ridgeland; Five Grandchildren and Six Great Grandchildren
