Haller Thomas Hutchins, 86, passed away surrounded by his loving family Saturday, February 18, 2012 at his home in Jackson. Visitation will be held 2-5pm Sunday, February 19 at Chancellor Funeral Home of Byram and 12 pm until the 2pm funeral service Monday, February 20 in the Chancellor Funeral Home chapel. Interment to follow in the Salem Baptist Church Cemetery.\

Mr. Hutchins spent the majority of his life in south Jackson where he was a member of Griffith Memorial Church. Anyone who knew him could tell you he was a loving husband, dad and grandfather. With much honor, he served in the United States Army Air Corp during WWII. After his service, he worked 30 years with Texas International Airlines. Later, Mr. Hutchins drove the double decker bus for Highland Village. Among his many hobbies, Mr. Hutchins was an avid fisherman and gardener who genuinely enjoyed serving others. \
