Harold Lee Cannon

Mr. Harold Lee Cannon, 85 of Florence passed peacefully into the arms of Jesus on Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at his home in Florence. The family will receive friends for visitation on Friday, December 6, 2019 at First Baptist Church in Florence from 9:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. Funeral Service. Following that service, there will be a second service at Neshoba Baptist Church at 3:00 p.m. with visitation from 2:30 – 3:00 p.m. there at the church. The burial will follow at Neshoba Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Cannon was born on November 10, 1934 in Neshoba County to the late Hugh Zene and Ora Johnson Cannon. He worked for many years as an office Manager and Financial Consultant for Citigroup. He was faithful to his church, serving as a Sunday School teacher for many years at First Baptist Church of Florence, and as a Deacon for over 25 years at FBC Florence, Neshoba Baptist and Linewood Baptist Church. He loved his family dearly and always put them first. He was the best husband and father ever and loved his grandchildren and great grandchildren with his whole heart. Along with his parents, Mr. Cannon is also preceded in death by his brother, Dr. Charles Cannon and his sister, Imogene Cannon Ladd. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Pat Cannon of Florence; daughter, Lucretia Bridges of Brandon; son, David (Donna) Cannon of Florence; grandchildren, Heather Hinton, Shelby (Larissa) Cannon, Christopher (Krystle) Lambert, and Austin Cannon; and great grandchildren, Ryder Holloway, Hunter Lambert, Cole Lambert, Harper Hinton, Alyssa Hinton, and Christian Hinton.
