Harold Crawford, Jr.

Harold (Buddy) Crawford, Jr., 56, passed away Sunday, November 23, 2008 at Wesley Hospital in Hattiesburg. Visitation will be 10:00am until the 11:00am funeral service Tuesday, November 25, 2008 at Holly Grove Baptist Church in Braxton. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.\ \ Mr. Crawford had lived in Hattiesburg since 1985. A Veteran of the U.S. Army during Vietnam, Mr. Crawford was a teacher on fellowship with the University of Southern MS and was Disabilities Advocate for MS Coalition for the Disabled, Hattiesburg District. An avid musician on guitar and drums, Mr. Crawford was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church in Hattiesburg.\ \ He is preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Tackett Crawford and brother, Jerry Wayne Crawford. Survivors include his wife Siobhan O'Quinn Crawford of Hattiesburg, sons, Adrian Mathias Crawford of Orlando, FL and Michael Eugene Crawford of Detroit, MI; daughter, Folly Martha Crawford of Hattiesburg; step-daughter, Dharma Bookbinder of Hattiesburg; father and step-mother, Harold and Betty Crawford of Terry; brother, Michael Crawford of Jonesboro, GA and sister, Judy Weidick of Richland.\ \ On line guest book available at www.chancellorfuneralhome.com.\
