Harry E. Whyte, 88, died April 23, 2010, in Gallman, Miss. where he had lived for three years. Visitation will be Sunday, April 25, 2010, from 2-5 pm at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram, and on Monday, April 26, 2010, from 9:30 am until the 10:30 am service time at Chancellor Funeral Home, Byram. Interment will be at Lakewood Memorial Park.\

Mr. Whyte is survived by his daughter DiAnn and her husband Harold B. Ingram of Gallman; daughter-in-law Betty J. Whyte Lynn of Brandon; sisters Annie Lois Cousins and Dean Whyte Owens, both of Jackson; grandchildren Mackey Whyte, Robby Whyte, Jennifer Heindl, Benton Ingram, and Carlton Ingram; and 11 great grandchildren.\

Mr. Whyte was preceded in death by his wife Gloria McNeill Whyte, son Harry McNeill Whyte, and daughter Barbara Jean Whyte.\
