Harvey Leon Clolinger, 62, passed away Monday, March 8, 2010 at MBMC in Jackson. Family and friends will gather at the family home in Byram May 1, 2010 at 1:00pm for a memorial service. \ \ Mr. Clolinger was a native of Greenville, MS, born January 2, 1948 to Harvey Wilson Clolinger and Lavinia Maze Clolinger. Having been on the river his whole life, he was a Tow-Boat Captain for 45 years. He had lived in Greenville till 1989 and lived in Byram since 2000. Mr. Clolinger loved life and did what he wanted.\ \ He is preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Susie Beam, Richard Clolinger and Bill Clolinger.\ \ Survivors include his wife of 21 years, Gail Clolinger of Byram; children, Rena Renee Bennett of Brandon, James David Clolinger of Leland,David (Butch) Wardlaw of Wesson, Billy Coumbe III of Raymond, Kim Metz of Florence, Patrick Coumbe of Houston, TX, Harvey Leon Clolinger II of Byram, Jackie Coumbe of Byram, Dallas Coumbe of Byram and Shaun Coumbe of Byram; brother, T. John Clolinger of Greenville; sisters, Judy Saulter of Greenville, Paula Carder of Greenville and Debra K. Horton of Greenville; and 14 grandchildren.\ \
