Mr. H.B. "Bo" Sneed

Hugh Bo Sneed, Jr., 69, passed away Sunday, July 21, 2013 at MS Baptist Medical Center in Jackson. Visitation will be 6-8pm Tuesday, July 23, and 9am until the 10am funeral service Wednesday, July 24, all at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Interment will follow at Lakewood Memorial Park. Bo was born in Dallas, TX to the late Hugh Bo Sneed, Sr. and Virginia McCaskill Sneed. He was a graduate of Murrah High School, Mississippi State University and Mississippi College, where he received his Juris Doctorate degree. Bo was an independent petroleum land man with an exceptional sense of humor, who loved to cook and adored his family. He was a member of Crossgates Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife of 43 years Pat Sneed of Jackson; son Jeff Sneed of Nashville, TN; daughters Terri (Todd) Lasseter of Arlington, TX, Laura Self of Lake Village, AR and Amy (Ron) Kegley of Roanoke, VA; brother Tom Sneed of Columbus, MS; grandchildren Jenny, Lindsey, Andrew, Emily, Micah, Erin, and Lane; great grandchildren Zoe and Preslie.
