Ms. Heather Nichole Jamison

Heather Nicole “Pooh” Jamison went to be with our Lord on Sunday, September 16, 2018. A Celebration of her Life will be Saturday, September 22nd at 2:00 p.m. at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. Visitation will be one hour before the service. Heather was born in Alexandria, LA on March 5, 1981 and was raised in Florence, MS. She had a rare condition called Rett’s Syndrome. She lost her ability to talk, walk, and do anything for herself at 1 ½ years old. She had a very sweet personality. She would communicate with her eyes. To know her was to love her. She was such a blessing. I’m sure she can do everything she ever wanted to do in her new glorified body. I’m sure she is dancing with her daddy right now. Heather is preceded in death by her daddy, Johnny Dean Jamison. She is survived by her mother, Betty Leavon White Jamison of Florence, MS; grandparents, Luvell White and Betty Lou Rice White of Pineville, LA; brother, Corey Jamison and his wife Jennifer of Ocean Springs, MS; sister, Meghan Jamison Jordan and her husband, Daniel of Petal, MS; and her beloved niece and nephews, Madison Jamison of Johns, MS, Landon Bower of Petal, MS, Bryson Jamison of Johns, MS, Walker Shelby of Ocean Springs, MS, Weston Shelby of Ocean Springs, MS, Hayden Jordan of Petal, MS, and Jackson Jordan of Petal, MS. In lieu of flowers, please make donation to Saint Jude’s Children’s Hospital in Memphis, TN in memory of Heather Nicole Jamison.
