Helen Conlee, 75 of Pearl went to her heavenly home on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at Baptist Hospital. Visitation will be Friday, February 24th from 5pm to 7pm and Saturday, February from 12pm to 1:30pm and then a graveside life celebration at 2pm at the Raymond Cemetery and all are welcome. Helen was born in Terry MS to Sarah and James Walter Conlee on June 2,1941 but lived most of her life in Pearl MS. Helen worked tirelessly caring for others at Carter Nursing Home and the Mississippi State Hospital where she retired from. She was an adored daughter, sister, and aunt but also a friend and confidant to many. Helen was a dancing queen for many years dancing the nights away with friends and family. She belonged to several local square and round dance associations. We will always remember the fun in watching her dance at the Mississippi State Fair with a very special couple Frank and Elizabeth McCreary who Helen was like a daughter to. Helen leaves behind her sisters Dottie Benny of Florida, Jean Slade of Raymond and nephews who were more like sons Mark (Elizabeth) Youngblood and Jimmy (Rhonda) Youngblood all of Pearl and many other nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind a very special great nephew Justin Youngblood and great niece Hailey Youngblood that were her heart and her biggest smiles.
