Ms. Helen Mathis Craft

Helen Arlene Mathis Craft, 93, passed away Monday, April 27, 2015 at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland. Visitation will be 11am-12:30pm Thursday, April 30, 2015 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Graveside services will follow at 1:00pm Thursday at Lakewood Memorial Park. Ms. Craft was born in Covington County, MS. She was a graduate of Central High School, living most of life in the Jackson area. Ms Craft was a clerical worker for Parts Inc. and a member of Byram Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents L.B & Alma Mathis; sisters Jackie Shivers, Aurilla Queen and Charlotte Vinson; and son Richard Craft. Survivors include her sons Paul (Delene) Craft of Raymond, Larry Craft of Jackson and Jimmy (Polli) Craft of Brandon; 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
