Helon Thompson\ Florence\ \ Helon Waggoner Mullican Thompson, 88, a retired nurse, died Thursday, December16, 2010 at Baptist Hospital. A graveside service will be held Sunday, December 19, 2010 at Florence Cemetery at 2:00pm for family and friends.\ \ Helon was a resident of Florence for over 66 years. She was a nurse for Dr. Cunningham ad Dr. Whitfield for over 30 years. Her goal in life was to help people.\ \ She loved fishing and her garden and her dog Jimbo. She will be missed by her family and friends.\ \ Survivors include son, Anthony Mullican (Wanda); Grandchildren, Todd Mullican, Kelly Mullican, Shellie Mullican Williams, and Dusty Mangum; and five Great Grandchildren.\
