Mr. Henry "Ray" Lehman

Henry Ray Lehman, 88, passed away Thursday, November 6, 2014 at his home in Jackson. Visitation will be from 10 AM until the 1 PM Funeral Service Monday, November 10th at Harmony Community Church in Cruger, MS. Burial will follow at Harmony Community Church Cemetery in Cruger, MS. Mr. Lehman was born in Cruger, MS on September 4, 1926 to Christopher and Maggie Lehman. He worked as a welder and a pipe fitter with Security Barge Line and was a WWII Veteran. Mr. Lehman was preceded in death by his great granddaughter, Ada Lehman; grandson, Ketih Lehman, and daughter in law, Barbara Lehman. He is survived by is wife, Mary Bruce Lehman of Jackson; children Kimble Ray Lehman of Paducah, KY, Henry Wayne Lehman (Julie) of Fredricks, MD, Gary Lehman (Janice) of Easley, SC, David Vernon Lehman of Jackson, and Brandie Blasingame (Steve) of Weatherford, TX; brother, Vernon (Dorothy) Lehman of Greenwood; sisters, Grace ( Billy) Deposter of Corinth, Juanita Smith of Yazoo City, and Naomi (Clint) Smith of Memphis, TN; 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be to the American Alzheimer’s Association.
