Henry "Norman" Wilkinson

Henry “Norman” Wilkinson,71, passed away Saturday, January 4, 2020 at Merit Health in Flowood, surrounded by his family. The family will receive friends for visitation on Tuesday, January 7th from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. and again on Wednesday, January 8th beginning at 10:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. Funeral Service all at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories. Norman was born April 12, 1948 in Jackson, MS to the late Malcolm and Oranell Shoup Wilkinson. He proudly served is country with the U.S. Army fighting during the Vietnam War. He loved drag Racing and enjoyed woodworking. He had a sweet tooth and was never seen without his diet Coke. His greatest accomplishment was being a loving father and grandfather. Along with his parents, Norman is also preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Wendy Wilkinson in 2016. He is survived by his daughter, Shana White of Brandon; sons, Sean (Lisa) Wilkinson of Richland and Joey (Monica) Wilkinson of Florence; brothers, Rex Wilkinson of Byram, Bobby Wilkinson and Joe Wilkinson both of Florence; sisters, Delores Foshee of Raymond, Linda Barnett of Houston, TX; 9 grandchildren, Leah, Joseph, Austin, Logan, Landon, Haylee, Zachary, Jeremy and Jossalyn; and 4 great grandchildren, Brody, Jake, Ally Mae and Liam.
