Henry L. Russum

Henry Leon Russum, 80, died Sunday, January 06, 2013 at Pleasant Hills Nursing Home in Jackson. Visitation is 9:00 - 11:00 AM Tuesday at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Services are scheduled for 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel with burial to follow in Rosemont Gardens.\ \ Mr. Russum served in the United States Air Force. He retired as a truck driver for Kuhlman Electric Company. He was a member of Daniel Memorial Baptist Church.\ \ Mr. Russum was preceded in death by his parents Tom and Bessie Russum; brothers, Thomas Russum and Hubert Russum; and sister Marcella Hillman. \ \ He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Ruby; sons, Greg Russum (Sherry) and Floyd Russum (Terresa) all of Raymond; daughter, Connie Dear (Danny) of Byram; six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and one on the way; brothers John B. Russum (Rachel) and Dwayne Russum (Anita) all of Pulaski; and sisters, Wilma Guess of Georgetown and Illma Lung (Bobby) of Pearl.\ \ In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Daniel Memorial Baptist Church.\ \ The family guest book may be signed at www.chancellorfuneralhome.com.\
