Homer Rowzee

Homer Rowzee, 93, passed away Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at Manhattan Nursing Home in Jackson. Visitation will be Friday, February 1st from 5-8pm and Saturday, February 2nd from 9am until the 10am funeral service at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. A graveside service will be held at 2pm at Hebron Baptist Church Cemetery in Little Rock, MS.\ Mr. Rowzee was a Veteran of the U.S. Army serving in WWII. He worked 32 years with Desota Industries.\ Mr. Rowzee is preceded in death by his wife of 70 years, Ruth Rowzee. He is survived by his sons, Homer E. Rowzee of Florence, Alfred (Judy) Rowzee of Florence, Jeff (Carol) Rowzee of Florence, and Robbie (Shirley) Rowzee of Brandon; daughter, Brenda (Tommy) Emory of Petersburg, ND; 9 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild. \
