Homer Lee Thomas, 71, owner of H.L.Thomas Tree Service, went on his final fishing trip Monday evening July 7th from his home. Visitation will be held Thursday July 10th from 5 until 8pm at Chancellor Funeral Home of Byram. Funeral services will be Friday at 2pm at the funeral home.\ \ Mr. Thomas was born the son of Clyde and Alma Hunter Thomas in Jones County, MS. He owned and operated H. L. Thomas Tree Service for 51 years and was a member of 1st Baptist Church of Byram.\ \ Survivors include his daughters and best friend Lisa Thomas of Byram; Pamela Connery of Memphis, TN and Pam Thomas of Louisville, MS, brothers Clyde (Tom) Thomas of Utica and Bobby Thomas of Brandon, grandchildren Wesley White, Adam Comans, Sarah Simonetti, Jeremy Comans, Tyler Craft, Chancey Poarch, and great grandchildren Aaron White, Corey, Alec and Yori White; two nephews, Tony and Billy Thomas.\ \ On line guest book available at www.chancellorfuneralhome.com.\
