Homer Moak\ McComb\ \ Mr. Homer Ray Moak, 84, passed away Friday, June 22, 2012 at McComb Nursing and Rehab in McComb, MS. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Monday at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence with visitation beginning at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Florence.\ \ Mr. Moak was born August 18, 1927 in McComb, MS to the late Judge Leon and Mary Jane Jernigan Moak. Mr. Moak was an avid outdoorsman, especially enjoying hunting and fishing. He was a Veteran of the US Army. \ \ Homer was preceded in death by his parents, and by his daughter, Martha Woodruff; brothers, Hollis and Sidney Moak, and sisters, Flora Mae Bolian and Grace Marsh. He is survived by his sons, James Ray Moak (Belinda) of Richland, Wayne Moak (Lori) of Brandon, and Gary Moak of Florence. He is also survived by his brother, Clyde Moak of McComb; sisters, Esther Weaver, Marietta Milliken, Gilmer Depaula, Clara Harshfield, and Ethel Hutchinson, all of McComb, and Shirley Nelson of Katy, TX; along with 9 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.\
