Henry Howard Berry, 88, left his earthly home Sunday morning, November 15, 2009 to begin a new life in heaven. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 17, 2009 from 5 - 8 p.m. at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. Services will be on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home chapel with interment following in Harrisville Cemetery.\ \ Howard, a lifelong resident of Harrisville, was a decorated Veteran of WWII serving in Germany receiving a Bronze Star from the Battle of Omaha Beach. He worked as a Job Superintendent of Telecommunication with Deviney & Dickerson-Chapman Construction. After retirement he loved traveling, camping and being a friend to all he came in contact with and taking care of his loving wife of 66 years. He was a member of Harrisville Baptist Church.\ \ He is preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Maybelle Berry and a sister, Laura Katherine Berry Bridges.\ \ He leaves behind his wife, Frances Barlow Berry of Harrisville; son, Edmond (Jeanie) Berry; daughter, Elizabeth Ann Seaney; sister, Alma Berry Bridges all of Harrisville; grandchild, Suzanne Mulligan and three great-grandchildren: Zachary, Colton and Madalynn Mulligan.\
