Howard Hill

Neely "Howard" Hill, Sr., 76, passed away at his home on Thursday, February 9, 2012 after a long battle with cancer. A celebration of his Life will be held at Chancellor Funeral Home on Saturday, February 11th from 4-7 pm.\ \ Born in Ackerman, MS, he lived in Richland for over 40 years. He is retired from Luvel Dairy and worked for Rick's Pro Truck. He loved being with family and friends, bird watching, walking and traveling. He has been to 48 states and wanted to visit Alaska. He never met a stranger. He enjoyed laughing and enjoying life to the fullest.\ \ He is survived by his son, Howard "Buddy" Hill and his loving wife, Donna of Crystal Springs; his "Baby Girl" Pam and her husband Jason Payne of Richland; sister, Sue Evans of Ackerman; his puppy, "Pepper"; many nieces and nephews; 4 step grandchildren and 7 step great-grandchildren.\ \ His family would like to thank the nurses at Baptist Hospital on the oncology floor. They became like family and adored him. They would also like to thank his caregiver, Pam Baily who love him as her own.\
