H. Ray Wroten

Harold Ray Wroten was born December 3, 1935 to Burley & Carrie Mae Wroten. Ray left this world for his heavenly home on October 14, 2008 at the age of 72, after a lengthy illness. He died at home surrounded by his family. Visitation will be 5-8pm Wednesday, October 15, 2008 and from 12:00noon until the 2:00pm service time Thursday, October 16, 2008 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Interment will follow in Lakewood Memorial Park.\ \ Ray was retired from Armstrong Cork & Tile and Monarch Marking System. He was a member of Brookleigh Baptist Church.\ \ Ray is survived by his wife of 54 years Charlene, his 3 children Sherry Arrington (Johnny), Dianne Richardson (Ricky), Mike Wroten (Elizabeth); grandchildren Stephanie Hall, Stephen Strawder, Ashley & Chase Wroten; great grandchildren Andrew, Austin & Aiden Hall, and his brothers Jack & Bruce Wroten. Special family members Shirley & Tommy Rogers, Ben & Sandra Little, Bob & Trish Little, and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his Father, Mother, and brother Ike Wroten.\ \ Family extends thanks to the nurses at St. Dominic's Cancer Center & St. Dominic's 5th floor, and special thanks to Dr. James Ervin, Dr. Bobby Graham, and good friend Dan.\ \ The family will be receiving friends at Brookleigh Baptist Church Fellowship Hall following the services. \ \ On line guestbook at www.chancellorfuneralhome.com.\
