Hugh J. Gerald, 93, died January 1, 2010 at Central Mississippi Medical Center.\ \ Graveside services and interment are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, January 5, 2010 at Lakewood Memorial Park with Father Bill Henry officiating.\ \ Born March 8, 1916 to William Sumpter and Georgia Wells Gerald, Mr. Gerald had lived for the last several years in Jackson, moving there from Baton Rouge, LA. He was retired from the Federal Aviation Administration as a technician. A WWII Veteran of the US Army, Mr. Gerald was a parishioner of St. Therese Catholic Church.\ \ He is preceded in death by his wife Mildred; His son David Gerald; Brothers Wesley, Carl, Buddy, Lesley, Burdis, and J.D. Gerald; and his sisters Arie, Ruth, Avis,and Mary Eva.\ \ Mr. Gerald is survived by his Sons Hugh A. (Libby) Gerald of Starkville, Charles (Sandra) Gerald of Brookhaven, and Michael (Anita) Gerald of Jackson; His Daughter Carloyn Theriault of Jackson; Seven Grandchildren and ten Great Grandchildren.\
