Irene Anderson

Edith Irene Carpenter Anderson age 88, entered into heaven January 11, 2010 in MS. Visitation will be 3-6pm Thursday, January 14, 2010 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram followed by the funeral services at 6pm that same evening in the funeral home chapel. Graveside services will be 1pm Friday at Egypt Central Baptist Church Cemetery in Raleigh, TN.\ \ Mrs. Irene Anderson was ordained as an Assembly of God Minister and won many souls to Christ through her ministry on radio, tent revivals, churches and weekly prayer meetings in her home at Woodford Street, Shreveport, LA. She was a talented song writer and musician. Her talents on the piano brought much joy to family and friends. Mrs. Anderson also retired as a stenographer for the Louisiana State Office Department of Youth Services.\ \ Mrs. Anderson was preceded in death by Charlie T. Anderson, husband of fifty years.\ \ She leaves behind three sons, Charles Stefan Anderson of Jackson, MS, Joseph Taylor Anderson of Raymond, MS and Roger Dean Anderson of New York; 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.\ \
