Irene Graves

Irene Elizabeth Graves, 82, passed away Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at Willow Creek Nursing Home in Byram. Visitation will be 6-9pm Friday, May 18, 2012 and 10am until the 1:00pm funeral service Saturday, May 19, all at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Interment will follow at Rosemont Gardens.\ \ Mrs. Graves was a native of Simpson County, MS and daughter of the late George and Nonnie Dilmore Walker. She loved her children and grandchildren with all her heart and they knew when they were down, they always had mother. Mrs. Graves loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. \ \ She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Otis Graves; brothers, J.C. Walker, M.F. Walker and B.G. Walker.\ \ Survivors include her children Jim Graves (Cathy) of Pearl, Gene Graves (Sandi) of Lafayette, LA, Deborah Britt (Randy) of Byram and Will Graves (Jodi) of Raceland, LA; brother, L.E. Walker of Hattiesburg; sisters, Jackie Parrish of Hattiesburg and Lois Speights of Laurel; 11 grandchildren and 37 great grandchildren.\ \ Pallbearers will be, Channing Pullen, Drew Ellzey, Dalten Graves, Lee Holland, Monty Graves, Phil Hickman, Cory Holland and Forres Ellzey.\ \ Honorary Pallbearers are Matt Petre and Drey Ellzey.\
