Iris Steadman

Mrs. Iris Steadman, 81, completed her earthly journey Friday, March 6, 2009 at River Oaks Hospital. Visitation will be Saturday, March 7, 2009 from 5-8 p.m. at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence and 12 noon, Sunday at Gunter Road Baptist Church until the 1 p.m. service. Interment will follow at Natchez Trace Cemetery in Madison.\ \ Mrs. Steadman, a resident of Richland for over 20 years will be remembered as a devoted, godly lady that was involved in childcare for over 13 years and served her Lord in Christian service all her life. She was a member of Gunter Road Baptist Church.\ \ She is survived by her loving husband, Rev. Dick Steadman of Richland; daughter, Gail Steadman of Miami, FL; 2 grandchildren and one great granddaughter.\
