Ivanell Harris

Mrs. Ivanell Harris, 73, passed away on December 9, 2010 at MS Baptist Medical Center. Visitation will be Sunday, December 12, 2010 from 5-7 p.m. and Monday 10-11 a.m. at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Services will be at the funeral home chapel on Monday at 11 a.m. with interment following in Raymond Cemetery.\ \ A native of Fulton, Mrs. Harris had lived in Raymond for the past 12 years, moving there from South Jackson. She was a graduate of Itawamba Agricultural High School, Itawamba Jr. College and MS College for Women majoring in Home Economics. She taught Home Economics in Florence, MS. She was a member and served as president of United Methodist Women a number of years at Epworth United Methodist Church. Presently she is a member of First United Methodist Church of Clinton.\ \ She is preceded in death by her parents and two sisters. She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Irving Harris, Jr. of Raymond and daughter Lynn Harris also of Raymond; and sister-in-law, Martha Earle Harris of Okolona.\
