Mr. Jack Durwood McGill Sr.

Jack Durwood McGill, Sr., 76, passed away Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at the VA Medical Center in Jackson. Visitation will be Thursday, February 18, 2016 from 1 P.M. until the 3 P.M. funeral service at Harrisville United Methodist Church in Harrisville. Burial will follow at Harrisville Cemetery. Mr. McGill was a member of Harrisville United Methodist Church and a long time employer of the battery plant in Florence. He was a member of the U.S. Navy and he enjoyed stock car races. Mr. McGill was preceded in death by his son, Jack McGill, Jr., and his sister, Bonnie Cohn. He is survived by his sister, Gale M. Foster of MO; nieces, Jo Ann May, Connie Cohn, Rhonda Baker, and Robin Goodwin; and nephew, Steve Cohn.
