Mrs. Jackie L. Mims

Mrs. Jackie Mims, a loving, caring mother and grandmother, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 26, 2017. She was a longtime resident of Jackson and a member of Oak Forest Baptist Church. Mrs. Mims is preceded in death by her husband, Edwin T. Mims, Sr.; parents, Jack and Velma Edwards; and daughter, Lisa Carol Mims. She is survived by her sons, Edwin (Kathleen) Mims of Flora and Michael (Donita) Mims, Sr. of Crystal Springs; grandchildren, David Mims, Daniel Mims, Gregory Mims and Christopher Mims; and several great-grandchildren. A private family service will be at a later date.
