Jackie Reed

Jackie Marie Reed, 77, passed away Friday, July 8, 2011 at her home. Visitation is 5:00-8:00 PM Monday, July 11 at the Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence and 9:00 AM Tuesday at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with services beginning at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow in Clear Branch Cemetery.\ \ Mrs. Reed was a retired secretary with the US Army Reserve and a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Florence.\ \ She was preceded in death by her husband, W. E. "Bob" Reed; son, Captain Kenneth Eugene Reed; and sister, Thyra Mae Grantham.\ \ She is survived by her son, Major Richard Reed (Angela); daughters, Susan Dancey (Michael) and Linda Monroe (Robert); 9 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandson.\
