Jacquita (Jo) Cox

Jacquita (Jo) Cox, 71, went to be with the Lord Friday, August 1, 2008 at her home in Jackson. Visitation will be 10:00am until the 2:00pm funeral service Saturday, August 2, 2008 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Interment will follow in Lakewood South.\ \ Mrs. Cox was born February 8, 1937 in Jackson, MS to Wiley Hugh and Lonnie Mae Randall. Having lived all of her life in Jackson she was a cashier for Central MS Medical Center for 20 years. Recently she had worked part time for David Bayse Allstate. She was a member of the Leavell Woods Chapter of Order of the Eastern Star #375 and also attended Country Woods Baptist Church.\ \ Survivors include her daughters, Vonda Hall of Terry, Wanda Nix (Dewitt) and Karen Pettigrew (Greg) all of Jackson; son-in-law Tom Hall, Jr. of Shreveport, LA; brother, Douglas Randall of Pearl; grandchildren, Stephanie and Mike Walker of Jefferson, GA and Matt and Cassie Hall of Birmingham, AL and 3 great grandchildren.\ \ On line guest book available at www.chancellorfuneralhome.com. \
