Mr. James "JC" Alexander

James Collis “JC” Alexander, 86, passed away Monday, May 30, 2016 at the Veterans Nursing Home in Jackson. Visitation will be Friday, June 3rd from 3-5 PM at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence with a Graveside Service beginning at 5:00 PM in the Garden of Memories. Mr. Alexander was born in Fredericksburg, TX and was an Ordained Minister in the Free Will Baptist Association. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and his family. He was also a self-employed carpenter and a helicopter mechanic. Mr. Alexander is preceded in death by his wife, Glenda Alexander; his parents, Homer and Ethel Alexander; sisters, Eva Jo Chapel and Ladora Mae Alexander; and brother, Ross Lee Alexander. He is survived by his children, Rena Adair of Richland, Becky Boyd of Amarillo, TX and Don n(Joel) Alexander of Evening Shade, AR; his brother, Rudy (Barbara) Alexander of Piedmont, SD, his sister, Etta Marie McPherson of Llano, TX; 15 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
