Burial followed at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church James was born on October 5, 1962 in Yazoo City, MS to Ottice Lovell and Billie Jo Nicholson Bradshaw. After high school, he worked a various jobs before becoming an EMT firefighter working in Yazoo and Madison Counties. He graduated from Holmes Community College in 1999 with a degree in Practical Nursing. Later, after retiring from the fire department, he came to know the Lord Jesus Christ and went into the ministry. He received a degree in Pastoral Ministries from Master’s School of Divinity. He ministered in several capacities in Central Mississippi including pastor and assistant pastor. A quiet man, he still managed to touch many lives through his ministry and acts of service. He is preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Elizabeth Nicole Bradshaw Carpenter and his grandson, Payton Edward Bradshaw. In addition to his wife, children, and grandchildren, James leaves behind his brother, Dennis and his wife, Faye and their family as well as other extended family. He was particularly close to his Aunt Bonnie Riser. Even knowing he is enjoying heaven and being with his family already there, he has left a hole in the hearts of those still here on earth. We look forward to seeing him again on the other side.
