Mr. James Larry Britt

James Larry Britt, age 60, of Raymond, passed away at his home April 2, 2014. He was born to James Bennon Britt and Mildred “Tonie” Britt on October 17, 1953. He married Debbie Wade Britt on March 3, 2001. His father precedes Larry in death. He is survived by his mother, his wife, and his son, Bennon Wade Britt. He is also survived by his sister, Judy Speights(Wayne); his sister Susan Birdsong; his brother Don Britt (Marji); and his brother John Britt. Larry was employed as an A/C technician. He was an avid sports player, fisherman, and hunter. His passion was giving Bible studies and inviting people to church. He was a long-time member of Pleasant Ridge Pentecostal Church in Brookhaven. Upon moving to Jackson, he attended Apostolic Faith in Byram and then became a member and usher at First Pentecostal Church of Jackson. The funeral arrangements are being handled by Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. The visitation will be 5-8pm Friday, April 4, at First Pentecostal Church of Jackson. The funeral will be 10:30am Saturday, April 5, at FPC. Graveside services will be 3pm Saturday at Easthaven Cemetery in Brookhaven, MS. On line guest book available at www.chancellorfunerahome.com.
