James Dennis Davis

Mr. James Dennis “Jim” Davis, 66, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, January 8, 2016 at River Region Hospital in Vicksburg, MS. Graveside services will be Tuesday, January 12, 2016, at 2:00 p.m. at Lakewood Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 12, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 pm at Chancellor Funeral Home of Florence. Mr. Davis was of Catholic faith; he loved his family, golfing, fishing, and hunting with his sons. He worked as a self-employed Manufacturers Representative. Mr. Davis was a native of San Antonio, Texas and was born February 15, 1949, the son of the late Lawrence Davis and Ida Mae Scott Davis. He was preceded in death by his parents and his two brothers, Butch Davis and Kenny Davis. Mr. Davis is survived by his wife of 38 years, Bethany Robertson Davis of Florence; three sons, Jordan (Jennifer) Davis of Madison, MS; Jacob (Allie) Davis of Ocean Springs, MS and Joseph Davis of Florence; three sisters; five grandchildren, Thomas Davis, Emery Davis, Nohl Davis, Naomi Davis and Miles Davis.
