James Evans

James Word Evans, 72, passed away Wednesday, May 19, 2010 at Copiah Living Center in Crystal Springs. A memorial service will be held at 11am Saturday, May 22, 2010 at New Beginnings Church in Martinville, MS. Bro. John Eschete will officiate.\ \ Mr. Evans was a native of Belzoni, Ms, born February 21, 1938 to Robert V. and Ila Mae Evans. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy and Air Force during the Korean Conflict and Mr. Evans had been a security guard for A-1 Securities.\ \ Survivors include his son James H. Evan and his wife Melissa of Crystal Springs; daughter Rita McDonald and her husband Steve also of Crystal Springs; 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.\ \
