James Douglas Harrison, 70, passed away Sunday, March 27, 2016 at his home. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 29th from 5:00 – 8:00 PM at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. The Funeral Service will be Wednesday, March 30th at 2:00 PM at Apostolic Lighthouse Church in Pearl with visitation an hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Morton Memorial Gardens. Mr. Harrison was born September 28, 1945 to Jack and Mary Alice Harrison of Pelahatchie, MS. He was an active member of Apostolic Lighthouse of Pearl. Mr. Harrison was preceded in death by his wife, Stella L. Harrison; son, James C. Harrison, Sr.; Daughter-in-law, Jeanna Harrison; and brothers, Jack Harrison, Jr., Eddie Harrison, J.C. Harrison; and sisters, Polly Brewer and Margaret Marchman. He is survived by his children, Clifton Harrison, Edward (Terri) Harrison, Teresa (Jr.) Waggoner, MaryAnn (Tommy) Whittington; Brothers, Bo (Ydel) Harrison, Jimmy Harrison and Weldon Harrison; 12 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
