James “Jimmy” Howard Gurley, Jr. passed from this life on Thursday, November 23, 2017. There will be a visitation at Antioch Baptist Church on Friday, November 24, 2017 from 2:00 – 3:00 PM. The funeral service will follow at 3:00 PM. Jimmy, an air condition and heating technician, was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing and hunting. He was passionate about music and loved to play his guitar. He also enjoyed building things. He leaves behind two daughters, Madisson and Mallory Gurley of Brandon, MS; a grandson, Charles Cash Edwards of Brandon; his parents, James and Lenora Gurley of Harrisville; a brother, John Gurley of Harrisville; two sisters, Cathy (Randy) Lindsey of Florence, Charlotte Jones of Harrisville; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
