Mr. James Matthew Kitchens

Matthew Kitchens, 29 of Florence passed away Saturday, August 9, 2014 after an extended illness. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 12, 2014 from 11 AM until the 2 PM Funeral Service at Chancellor Funeral Home with interment to follow in Gardens of Memories in Florence. Matthew was a graduate of Mt. Olive High School where he was an outstanding student and very popular with his friends. He was a Driller for Lane Drilling, a loving father, son and grandson. Matthew leaves behind his son, James Henry Kitchens; daughter, Harley Kitchens both of Brandon; his parents: Jerry and Dorothy Kitchens of Florence; sister, Olivia Johnston of Florence; Step brother, Michael Hall, Jr. of Collins; grandmothers; Patricia Scallorn and Mary Virginia Kitchens; and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
