James Aaron Moran of Richland, MS passed away January 30, 2023. He was 38 years old. James was born in Jackson, MS on November 20, 1984 to Charles Moran, Jr. and Cheryl Redmond Brock.
James was a man with a big heart that loved his family. As a young boy he played soccer until he was 18 and then enjoyed watching soccer as an adult. He enjoyed cooking and playing video games as well as playing his guitar. James was a talented musician and was a songwriter. He adored his daughter, Sarah Grayson and enjoyed spending time with her; James remained close to her mother, Jessica Marin as their relationship spanned more than a decade. He is a father, son, brother, grandson and friend that will be missed greatly. The family will receive friends Saturday, February 10th, at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram, MS from 3:00 p.m. until the 4:00 p.m. Memorial Service.
James is preceded in death by his father, Glen Mark Braswell and his uncle, Eddie Redmond.
He is survived by his daughter, Sarah Moran; his mother, Cheryl Brock; father, Charles Moran, Jr.; brother, William Joseph Moran and his wife Kacey; maternal grandparents, Fredrick W. and Judith Redmond and paternal grandparents, Charles, Sr. and Gaylen Moran; aunts, Suzannah, Cathy Jo, Sandra Ann, Victoria Jean, Michelle, and Deanna McWilliams.
