Mr. James O. Odom, Sr.

Mr. James Oliver Odom, Sr., 84, passed away Sunday, November 01, 2015 at his home in Florence, MS. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 03, 2015 from 5pm until 8pm and Wednesday, November 04, 2015 from 1pm until the 2pm service all at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence, MS. Burial will follow at Mt. Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Odom loved to play his guitar, he could fix anything, and above all loved his dog and best friend Buddy. He was preceded in death by his parents, Oliver and Estelle Odom; wife, Bonnie Odom; son, Darrell Odom and his granddaughter, Emily Odom. He is survived by his sons, James O. Odom, Jr. (Anna) of Brandon, Larry Odom of Madison, Randy Odom (Kathy) of Starkville and Mitchell Odom (Penny) of Waveland; daughters, Debbie Robinson (Craig) of Meridian and Ronda Jackson of Byram; ex-wife, Jean Johnson of Madison; 2 brother and 3 sisters; 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
