Mr. James Larry Sills Jr.

James Larry Sills, Jr., 68, passed away Thursday, November 27, 2014 at his home in Braxton. Visitation will be Sunday, November 30th from 5-8 PM and Monday, December 1st from 9AM until the 10AM Funeral Service at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. Burial will follow at Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery in Pinola, MS. Born in Simpson County, Mr. Sills has been a resident of Braxton for the last 8 years, moving from White Oak, MS. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Mr. Sills was preceded in death by his parents James Larry Sills, Sr. and Ruthie Greer Sills; his son, Candy Sills; and his brother, Bobby Sills. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Renna Mullins Sills; children, Chance (Heather) Sills of Florence, Curtis Sills of Florence, Debbi (Dale) Williamson of Terry, Penny (Roy) Paul of Florence; 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; brother, Chris Sills of Wesson; and his sisters, Peggy Patterson of Byram, Carolyn Odom of Byram, Janice Childs of Brandon, Janet Easley of Baton Rouge, and Sheila Blanton of TX.
