Jimmy Smith\ Star\ \ Mr. James F. "Jimmy" Smith, 60, died at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland, Thursday, January 3, 2008. Graveside services were held on Friday, January 04, 2008 at Star Cemetery with Rev. Vic Bowman presiding.\ \ Family and friends met to celebrate his life and reflected on his love of flowers and his dedication to his work as a hair stylist.\ \ Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his father, Franklin E. Smith. He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Ruth A. Smith of Star; brother, Gary Smith of Allen, TX; sister, Barbara Brugere also of Star; 4 nephews, 2 nieces and 2 great-nieces.\
