James Ernest Davidson, 61 of Florence, MS passed away, December 3, 2012. Mr. Davidson was a native of Macon, GA where he was a plumber by trade. He was looking forward to returning to his home in GA. While he didn't get to return to his Georgia home during life his cremated remains will make the journey home. He was passionate about his southern heritage and fishing. \ \ He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence Davidson of Claxton, GA and Nancy Gandy of Macon and his sister, Pam Cox of Forsyth, GA; He is survived by his sons: Harley and William Davidson; his daughters: Brandi and Sarah Davidson all of Macon, GA; his brothers: Randy (Gail) Davidson of Cummins, GA, Garry (Lisa) and Billy (Tonya) Davidson of Claxton; his sisters: Jan (Grady) Guthrie of Florence, MS and JoAnn Griffith of Claxton, and grandchildren. \ \ There will be a celebration of Mr. Davidson's life scheduled soon. Though his body is gone his spirit remains. He is loved and will be missed by his family and friends. \
