James (jim) Ainsworth

Mr. James "Jim" R. Ainsworth, 76, completed his earthly journey to begin his new journey, Tuesday, November 11, 2008 at MS Baptist Medical Center. Visitation will be Wednesday, 5-8 p.m. at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. Services will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home chapel. Interment will be Garden of Memories Memorial Park in Florence. \ \ Mr. Ainsworth, a man that was known for loving his family was very active in the MS Western Horsemen's Association, a member of the American Quarter Horse Association and the American Legion. Beyond his love for his family and horses, he was an avid vegetable gardener. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Florence.\ \ He was preceded in death by a brother, Joe Ainsworth. He is survived by a son, Derek Ainsworth of Brandon; step-son, Donnie Barrett of Florence; step-daughter, Abby Little of Brandon; two brothers: Bob Ainsworth of Florence and John Ainsworth of Louisville, KY; sister, Joan Brooks of Pelahatchie; two grandchildren, Jackson and Cruz Ainsworth.\
