James R. Storey

Jim Storey, 60 went to be with his Lord , Sunday, May 4, 2008 at his home.\ \ Visitation is scheduled for 5 until 8 P.M. Monday at Chancellor Funeral Home, Florence and Tuesday from 10 until the 11:00 service in the Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Faith Baptist Church cemetery.\ \ A native of Columbus, Mr. Storey had lived in Simpson County since 1977, moving there from Pearl. A U.S. Army Veteran, Mr. Storey was an associate in the meat dept. of WalMart. He was a Lay Minister, a deacon, Sunday School teacher, and Charter member of Faith Baptist Church.\ \ He is survived by his wife of 39 years; Margaret Storey of Florence; Sister: Miki Ostendoff of Ft. Lauderdale FL; Brother: Billy (Linda) Storey of Vicksburg; and a number of nieces & nephews.\
