James William Lunsford, Sr., 83, died at 6:50 PM Friday, July 6, 2012 at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland. Visitation is 5:00 - 8:00 PM Sunday and 9:00 - 9:30 AM Monday at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Graveside services will be held 10 AM Monday at Rosemont Gardens Memorial Park with Pastor Darrel Blankenship officiating. \ \ He was born in Electric Mills, MS to Homer J. Lunsford and Lula Bell Lunsford Morgan and was employed by Frito Lay for 35 years.\ \ Mr. Lunsford was preceded in death by his son, George Lunsford, and four brothers.\ \ Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Betty Lunsford; son James Lunsford, Jr. of Crystal Springs; three daughters - Brenda Lunsford and Tammy Lunsford, both of Raymond, and Linda Lord of Lucedale; three sisters - Mildred Pope of Harrisville, Carolyn Brisendine of Terry, and Louise Gray of Norwalk, IA; 8 grand-children, 8 great-grand-children, and 2 great-great-grand-children.\ \ In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made the American Lung Cancer Society.\ \ Family guestbook may be signed at www.chancellorfuneralhome.com. \
