Jan Tagert

Mrs. Hazel Janette (Jan) Tagert, 61, died on January 6, 2010 while visiting her son in New Orleans, LA. Visitation will be Saturday, January 9, 2010 from 5-8 p.m. at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence and Sunday from 1 - 3 p.m. Services will be at the funeral home chapel at 3 p.m. on Sunday. Interment will follow in Richland Cemetery.\ \ Mrs. Tagert retired as a LPN from St. Dominic's Hospital working there for over 25 years. She loved to read. She was a professing Christian and a member of the Church of Christ.\ \ She was preceded in death by her mother, Ludine Devine and brother, Terry "Big T"\ Devine.\ \ She is survived by her husband, Robert Tagert; father, Bilbo Devine of Kosciusko; son, Scott (Heddie) Tagert of New Orleans, LA; daughter Kathy (Ronnie) Smith of Kosciusko; one brother, Billy Devine of Jackson; 3 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.\
