Mary “Jane” Dunn Mason of Florence left this life Saturday, August 6, 2022, at her home in Florence.  She was 79 years old.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Friday, August 12th from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. There will be a Graveside Service at Langdale Cemetery in Langdale, Alabama.

Mrs. Mason was born in West Point, GA, to Curtis and Gladys Dunn.  After a short marriage that produced two children, she met the love of her life and married Bobbie Lee Mason. After moving to Mississippi, she attended and graduated from the school of Nursing, at Hinds Jr. College in 1979.  She worked as a nurse for the next 41 years, helping those that needed her.  She was also an avid Alabama football fan.

Along with her parents, Jane is preceded in death by her husband, Bobbie Lee Mason; sisters, Shelia and Janice; brother, Curtis “Bubba” Jr.; son, Randy; stepsons, Stephen and Mike.

She is survived by her daughter, Jackie; sons, Bobbie Lee, Jr. and Richard; 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

Her devotion to her family, friends, football, and work will always be remembered and cherished.
