Ms Janice Curtis

Janice Elma Curtis, 68 went to heaven on Saturday, March 16, 2019. Visitation will be 9am-11am Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. A graveside service will then be held at 12:00 noon at Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery in Crystal Springs. Janice was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend to many. She was livelong resident of the Utica area and of the Baptist faith. She loved spending time with family, who were her world and enjoyed helping others. She never met a stranger. She was preceded in death by her parents; Frank and Viola Thompson, her husband of over 20 years, Richard Wayne Curtis, two children, her daughter, Sissy Sauls, and her son, Richard Wayne (Bubba) Curtis, Jr. She leaves behind her daughter, Kim Cranfield (Fred) of Brandon, her son; James Ray Tacker of Flora, her brother Ken Thompson of Johns, two sisters: Martha Jo Wiggins of Brandon and Carolyn Connerly of South Carolina, 3 grandchildren; Dustin Ross, Andrew Cranfield, and Andrea Atkins, 4 great-grandchildren; Jackson Ross, Ryder Atkins, Conner and Carlee Cranfield.
