Janice McKee Wallace,75 , passed away Tuesday, March 2, 2010 at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland. Visitation will be 5-8pm Thursday, March 4, 2010 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram . Services will be 1pm Friday in the funeral home chapel followed by interment at Lakewood Memorial Park.\ \ Mrs. Wallace was a native of Brookhaven, MS, born June 22, 1934 to Boyce and Alma Bentz McKee. She was a homemaker having lived in the Jackson area for over 50 years and was a member of Oak Forest Baptist Church.\ \ She is preceded in death by her husband Robert Wallace and grandson Matthew Ryan Vail. Survivors include her sons Tommy Wallace (Pat) of New Hebron, John Jacks (Emily) of Denver, CO and Kelly Wallace (Sharon) of Diamondhead, MS; daughters, Cherry Wallace of Byram, Janet Vail (Bobby) of Raymond, Jill Harms (Bill) of Alabaster, AL, and Lee Ann Sanders (Lamar) of Byram; brothers, Jim McKee (Suki) of Seoul, South Korea and Fred McKee (Jan) of Brookhaven; sisters, Gloria Broadwater of Clinton and Judy McKee of Brookhaven; 13 Grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.\ \ Donations may be made to Hospice Ministries of Ridgeland, MS.
